The mirror comes with hooks that attach to each side of the mirror to hang it over a door. The hooks that I received had a manufacturing defect which caused the mirror to hang crooked. I reported it to Star Element and they informed me that they no longer handle replacement parts, and they recommended that I return the mirror to Amazon. Repackaging and returning the mirror is probably possible, but will be time consuming and annoying. The mirror is very light weight for a piece of glass, so it is probably easily breakable. When hanging on the door, t bounces around when opening and closing the door. If young kids are around, it could be hazardous. I don't recommend this product.I have found no way to attach this to the wall which is what I wanted. Rather than send it back, I will try to find a way to do it - I don't want to use the strips. Should there have been more hardware and instructions with it? if not, it is not as advertised.Nothing special here and for a very inexpensive dressing mirror, it get's the job done. We mounted it on the back of the door as you really don't want it showing all the time in the bathroom.It's a nice looking near, but the measurements are not correct the overall width of the mirror is only 13 1/4 inches wide the The mirror it's self is only 11 1/4 inches. The height is correct.It needed a moved when opening the door and I didn't find any double sided tape that is was suppose to come with. I bought velcro tape and that helped. It should come with the package. Other than that, it suites my purposes.Mirror was received with smears on the glass and top left corner of frame had a 2" scrape on it. Other than that, it works just fine.The imagine has some distortions.Perfectly hangs over mirror, without stopping the door from closing. Quality glass.
